R11522 Empire Proflame 2 Fireplace Remote Transmitter

R11522 is a remote transmitter for Empire Comfort Systems fireplaces. This OEM Empire remote is compatible with American Hearth, Plaza, White Mount Hearth, and many other Empire fireplace brands.

When used with a compatible receiver, the R11522 can be programed to control several different features on your Empire fireplace. A remote receiver is required to use the R11522 to control a fireplace.

How to Program your R11522 Transmitter

Push the "SW1" program button one time on your receiver. You should hear the three short beeps telling you the receiver is now ready to accept a new code from the remote transmitter.

Then, push your handheld remote transmitter's On/Off button. You should hear four beeps from the receiver telling you the module and the remote are now paired and ready to be used. The remote and the receiver use the same RF code.

If you are unable to control your fireplace with your remote even after programming the R11522, there is likely an issue with the IPI/CPI module. If you have further questions, please contact our technical support team.

Service Note:

It is recommended to use standard alkaline batteries in these transmitters. The use of lithium ion batteries has been found to throw an ER9 code due to higher voltage. If you have an ER9 code, transmitter battery measure error, appearing on your unit and you have lithium batteries installed, swap them out for standard alkaline batteries. If the code reappears, the remote will need to be replaced.
