The HS4040 NDSP-5 is thermostatically controlled and only lights the pilot when it needs to turn on. The HS4040 NDSP-5 requires electricity at the installation site but won't use gas when it isn't heating, making it less costly to heat those seldom used spaces. Infrared heat heats you before it heats the air so you can feel warm faster and get on with your work, or play.
