The 18TPB is a vent-free gas log heater that features millivolt control. This 28,000 BTU/hr. Majestic gas log heater comes in both natural gas (18TPBNV) and liquid propane gas (18TPBPV) variants.
A millivolt control gas valve and a standing pilot in this Majestic heater are controlled by an On/Off switch. The 18TPB can also be controlled with an optional millivolt remote, sold separately.
This vent-free gas burner does not require outdoor venting to function. There are specific clearance requirements outlined in the installation instructions that are important to follow for proper operation of the 18TPB.
Features of the 18TPB Vent Free Gas Log Burner
- Includes a millivolt gas valve with an adjustable Hi/Low knob.
- Supports optional remote transmitter and receiver or wall-mounted thermostat. (sold separately.)
- Standing pilot remains on during operation to allow for quicker ignition.
- ODS pilot features a safety shutoff that prevents gas flow when insufficient oxygen is available.
- Comes standard with decorative ceramic fiber log set and decorative crushed volcanic rock.

The 18TPB comes in either a natural gas (model number: 18TPBNV) or liquid propane gas (model number: 18TPBPV) version. Natural gas should only be used to fuel the 18TPBNV, just as liquid propane gas should only be used to fuel the 18TPBPV.
