Z-D27227 Pressure Switch 4 Port Single Contact Special

The Z-D27227 Porter Cable DeWalt pressure switch is a 4-port switch that turns the compressor on and off to maintain the desired pressure in the compressor tank, and it has a preset cut-in pressure of 105 PSI and a cut-out pressure of 135 PSI. It does not require an external unloader.

The switch has unique connections for the molded cord and only has one set of spade contacts inside the switch. It is an OEM replacement part, which means that it was originally made by Furnas Hubble for air compressors by DeWalt, DeVilbiss, Sears Craftsman, Porter Cable, and others.

The four ports on the switch are used for the following:

The supply line port connects to the air compressor’s inlet to the tank.

The outlet line port connects to the air compressor’s outlet line.
The safety valve port relieves excess pressure from the compressor tank.

The pressure gauge port measures the pressure in the compressor tank.
