VS8420E-LPKIT-TM HONEYWELL VS8420E DIRECT VENT LP GAS VALVE REPLACEMENT KIT TOP MOUNT

The VS8420E-LPKIT-TM is a New Sit-820 Nova series Propane Gas control valve replacement kit to replace the Honeywell VS8420E that was initially set up for LP Propane Gas and has the Red cap screw on the Hi-Lo Adjustment using a Top Mounting Pilot Assy.

This is an HVAC installer service replacement kit and must be installed and tested by a certified HVAC contractor with proper installation tools and testing equipment. Some additional modifications may be required depending on the specific model of the fireplace in which the replacement kit is being installed.

This new Sit-820 series gas valve replacement kit will include the Hi-Lo Adjustable LP Gas Valve, LP Top Mounting Propane Pilot Assy, Gas Valve Mounting Bracket, Piezo Push Button Igniter and comes with various screw components to allow for the replacement of the Honeywell VS8420E Propane Gas valve.

The correct kit must be ordered for the specific gas type and pilot mounting configuration that is being replaced.

This VS8420E-LPKIT-TM is to be used for Propane Gas as an in-the-field service replacement kit or replacement of the VS8420E initially set up for  Propane Gas with a Red Hi-Lo Cap

Please see the directional photo before installation to verify the proper direction of gas flow to the main burner.
The arrow on the back cover of the new Sit-820 Nova series gas valve indicates the direction of flow.

If you are replacing the VS8420E Honeywell Gas Valve in a Lennox IHP Fireplace, we recommend the specific Gas Train associated with the model of your complete direct vent fireplace.
