1-269-685-4123The 230560 Limit Switch must be working properly in order for the heater to start.
The 230560 Serves 2 purposes during the operation of the wall furnace and greenhouse heaters where the 230560 limit switch is used in a startup and high limit series operation.
The first happens during the startup operation 24 volts DC must pass from the Time Delay Relay through the Limit Switch, Sail Switch and then to the Module Control Board.
When no voltage can pass through any of these items on startup the appliance will not start.
The second purpose is to make sure the temperature of the wall furnace greenhouse heaters does not overheat during operation. If the heater becomes to hot at any point in the appliances operation the 230560 Limit Switch will open and break the 24 Volt DC circuit and cause the heater to cease in operation.
This limit switch should never be removed from the operation of the heater other than for testing purposes by a certified mechanical contractor.
