UN3 AND UN3 RX are now the same Receiver Box by Skytech and work with the SKY-MRCK, SKY-MRCK-TH, SKY-CON, and SKY-CON-TH remote controls to provide wireless control of a gas heating fireplace with the simple click of a button.
The UN3 UN-3 receiver operates on 4 AA batteries and is intended to work universally with the fireplace gas valves to provide solenoid engagement and remote control operation of your gas appliance.
The UN3 will replace the ProCom Part Number# RG04-2M, RG04-1M, 161312-01 two wire receivers, but may require the wires to be used from the old receiver and will "NOT" work with the ProCom RG04-1T Remote Transmitter.
Service Note:
In some applications when replacing the RG04-1M Procom Receiver the wiring harness from the old RG04-1M receiver will need to be reused on the new UN-3 Receiver.
This is simply done by loosening the small screws on the back of the receiver and exchanging the wire harnesses.
The RG04-1M ProCom Receiver has a special housing and the UN3 "WILL NOT FIT" in the same spot.
We suggest to just place the receiver anyplace under the fireplace as far away from the burner as the wires will allow.

Battery powered receiver with learn function has a 20 foot range and can learn up to 2 additional Skytech remotes and also allows manual control of fireplace with On/Remote/Off settings. Black and Red 18 gauge standard wires connect to a solenoid valve.
Built-in thermistor recognizes whenever the ambient temperature reaches 130 °F and automatically shuts the power off to the appliance, preventing damage from excessive heat.
