Replacement Motor Assembly

This motor fits the older style portable torpedo and salamander style forced air heaters that were produced by DESA International.

These heater could have been labeled under the following names and model numbers.

Master Heaters, Reddy Heaters, Remington Heaters, Knipco Heaters, Queeen B Heaters, John Deere Heaters and any DESA International labels, torpedo and salamander type kerosene forced air heaters.

Service Note:

It is crucial to wait at least 3 minutes before attempting to restart a motor after it has been running. This 3-minute cool-down period allows the motor to dissipate heat and prevents potential damage to motor windings. Attempting to restart a motor in less than 3 minutes will often result in a motor "hum" and failure to start. This occurs because the motor's components are still too hot, and the motor may not have enough torque to overcome the residual heat and start turning.
