Very helpful customer service
I just wanted to take time to thank your customer service department.
Both guys gave me excellent information to help me diagnose the problem I was having with my Craftsman compressor. I had to make a second call due to a call being dropped for unknown reasons and received patient courteous and VERY helpful detailed information!

After Obtaining the info and applying it to my situation I found out that I didn't require any parts after all. I listened closely when the compressor shut off and this time did hear the hiss as the unloader valve functioned as it should.

While I had the correct amp circuit for the compressor , as it turned out where I went wrong was having used an extension cord, which given the lighter gauge and length was contributing to having had trouble with the compressor not starting up and on occasion was tripping the house breaker for that circuit.

Eliminating the extension cord was all that was needed as after doing so the compressor never failed to promptly start up after the pressure dropped to between 100 and 115 PSI.

This after repeated tests of the same nature. Thanks so very much for all of the information that helped me effectively diagnose the current "problem" I was having with this compressor.

For my records it would help if I could obtain the kit needed to renew the compressor piston etc should that part of compressor ever wear out. i.e. New Cylinder Ring Gasket Kits
Thanks again
