This D22693 High Pressure hose was originally a Thermoplastic Light Duty 3100 PSI 5/16 hose.
The D22693 Heavy Duty rubber coated 3100 psi hose with a single wire braid inside of the rubber coating to help resist tear and abrasions for a longer life.
