The EW4040 high pressure pump is an AAA industrial triplex plunger pump rated for a max flow rate of up to 4.0 GPM and 4400 PSI maximum burst pressure.
The compatible engine range for the EW4040 is 9 to 13 HP with a 1 inch shaft to achieve up to 4400 PSI maximum pressure. Maximum pressure output depends on engine size, with 4400 PSI achieved when the pump is paired with a 420cc engine.

Service Notes
Maximum Pressure
A maximum pressure of 4400 PSI is achieved when the EW4040 pump is coupled with a 420cc engine. Smaller engines will produce a lower maximum running pressure.
Part Number Identification
Some 7112736 and DW3635 series pumps were mislabeled from the factory and came labeled as 7109267 or EW4040 series pumps. Verify the correct pump before ordering replacement parts.
Ordering a New Unloader
Some EW4040 pumps came equipped with an alternate unloader assembly. Refer to old and new style photos to determine the correct replacement unloader.

My pump is going to be sitting unused. Do I need to do anything to prepare it for storage?
All Parts always recommends using pump saver on your pressure washer pump if you are planning on putting it in storage for more than 30 days.
If your pump or pressure washer is going to be stored for the winter, we recommend winterizing your pressure washer.
