842-0230 Propane Gas Millivolt Gas Valve for Direct Vent Fireplaces

842-0230 was a liquid propane gas valve designed for use in Quadra-Fire fireplaces from Hearth & Home Technologies. This valve includes a HI/LO adjustment manual control knob.

While primarily used on Quadra-Fire propane fireplace models, this propane valve may also service select fireplaces from other Hearth & Home brands, such as Simplifire, Majestic, Monessen, Majestic, Vermont Castings, Harmon, Heat & Glow, and DutchWest.

Service Note

The 842-0230 is an SIT valve that may appear similar to several other SIT gas valves. These valves look similar but have subtle differences that prevent them from being used interchangeably.

Consult the owner's manual for your propane gas fire appliance before installing a replacement gas valve.  Using an authorized replacement valve will help prevent accidental damage to your fireplace and/or valve.
