6311.0160.00 Comet EWD4040 GK High Pressure replacement pressure washer pump with external unloader is a 4400 PSI Max 4.0 GPM Industrial Triplex Plunger pump that was used on many different brands of pressure washer including Simpson, Delco, DeWalt, Cub Cadet, MTD, BE, Mi-T-M and various other brands.

A Maximum Pressure of 4400 PSI is achieved when the Comet 6311.0150.00 pump is coupled with a 420CC Engine, smaller engine will produce a lower maximin running pressure.

The AAA EW4040 Pump is rated at the maximum burst or static pressure of 4400 PSI. This means the maximum spike that your pressure gauge will read when you let off of the trigger gun will be approximately, 4400PSI "Static Pressure". This is also the maximum, 4400PSI "Burst" pressure you will have when you first pull the trigger of your pressure washer. The running pressure of the pump can be considerably different depending on the horsepower of the engine, RPM's of the engine, age of the engine and the size of the nozzles being used in the pressure washer. The EW4040 Pump with a 420 CC Engine running at 3600 PSI with a 4.0GPM 15 Degree Nozzles will typically drop 400-600 PSI from Static pressure to running pressure.
