The 21-DV is a direct vent dual-fuel fireplace that features a Piezo spark ignitor. This fireplace is thermostat-controlled, with the burner automatically adjusting itself in order to maintain the room's temperature.

With its millivolt ignition system, the 21-DV is able to ignite and operate without an electrical input. Other aspects of the fireplace, such as the low-noise blower, require electricity to run.
