700-508 Kozy Heat Remote Handheld Transmitter Proflame Series
The 700-508 Transmitter requires 4.5 DC Volts,3 AAA batteries and has a radio frequency of 315 MHz
The Kozy Heat 700-508 Sit Control is designed to control the on/off main burner operation, its flame levels, electronic ignition feature, addition burner valve, lights, auxiliary options and provides on/off and Smart thermostatic control of the hearth appliance.
The Kozy Heat 700-508 Sit Control is specifically developed to be used together with the both the 0.885.001 Proflame Valve and 829 NOVA mV multifunctional gas control or with the 820 NOVA mV converted with the step motor modulating kit.
In its basic form, it is configured to control the on/off operation of the main burner and to provide thermostatic control of the appliance.
Comfort control is advanced by the Smart thermostat feature which automatically modulates flame height optimizing temperature management and room ambiance.

Service Note:
It is recommended to use standard alkaline batteries in these transmitters. The use of lithium ion batteries has been found to throw an ER9 code due to higher voltage. If you have an ER9 code, transmitter battery measure error, appearing on your unit and you have lithium batteries installed, swap them out for standard alkaline batteries. If the code reappears, the remote will need to be replaced.
Initializing the System for the first time
1. Set master override switch to off position.
2. Install four (4) AA batteries into the battery holder.
3. Install three (3) AAA batteries in the back of the remote control.
**Note the polarity of batteries and install them as indicated by the silk screen (+/-) on the holder**
4. Connect AC Power (115 volts, 60 Hz) to fireplace.
Operating the Remote System for the first time
5. Press SW1 button on the control module. The control module
will beep three (3) times and an amber LED is illuminated to
indicate that the IFC is ready to synchronize with a remote
control within 10 sec.
Push the ON button on your handheld remote.
The IPI control module will "beep" four (4) times to indicate transmitter's command is accepted.
The System is now initialized.
