0.240.002 is a Honeywell SIT Thermopile Generator. This thermopile generates a maximum 750 millivolt mV DC power to operate most millivolt gas control system, independent of any outside power source.
Features of the 0.240.002 Honeywell SIT Thermopile
- 23 Inch Braided Leads with Split Connection Terminals
- Male nut connector for direct vent installation applications.
- Fits ODS safety control power units.
Service Note
When replacing the thermopile, please note the following wiring information:
Red wire from braided lead goes to the TP Terminal on your gas valve.
White wire from braided lead goes to the TPTP Terminal on your gas valve.
Your Off On switch wire or Remote wires will connect to the TP connection and the TH connections.
The wires need to be connected properly for the unit to function.
